Davis Mountains State Park will host its Coffee with the Superintendents event Oct. 1, giving residents and visitors an opportunity to meet with park leadership, ask questions and learn about upcoming projects and job opportunities.
The event begins at 9 a.m. on the historic lobby patio at Indian Lodge.
Superintendents from Davis Mountains State Park and Fort Davis National Historic Site are expected to participate. Organizers said the informal gathering will include discussion of current activities at the park, upcoming programs, projects and events, and employment opportunities at Davis Mountains State Park and Indian Lodge.
Park officials also plan to seek feedback from residents about how the park can better serve the local community.
“Most importantly, we want to hear from you,” Davis Mountains State Park said in announcing the event. Attendees are encouraged to share ideas and ask questions while having coffee with members of the park leadership team.
The event is scheduled for 9 a.m. Thursday, Oct. 1, at Indian Lodge in Davis Mountains State Park.
