Presidio Pour-Over Coffee Co. will host two ceremonial matcha gatherings Oct. 23, offering participants an introduction to the Japanese tea tradition along with their own matcha-making kits.
The sessions are scheduled for 11 a.m. and 4 p.m., with space limited and advance reservations required.
The $40 gathering will feature ceremonial-grade matcha prepared with milk and a touch of sweetness. Participants will learn about matcha and its preparation, according to the coffee company.
Each participant will also receive a matcha kit and glass tumbler to take home.
Presidio Pour-Over described the event as an opportunity to learn about the tradition behind matcha while enjoying a matcha latte.
