Tivo’s Place in Terlingua to reopen Sept. 27 after summer break

Tivo’s Place Restaurant will reopen Sunday, Sept. 27, after closing for a summer break, the Terlingua restaurant announced Wednesday.

The Mexican restaurant, located at 23323 FM 170, said it will resume its regular business hours as it welcomes back Big Bend residents and visitors.

Tivo’s Place will be open from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. and 5 to 9 p.m. Sunday through Thursday. The restaurant will remain closed Fridays and Saturdays.

The restaurant offers dine-in service as well as takeout, with customers able to call ahead at 432-371-2133.

Tivo’s Place, which bills itself as serving authentic Mexican food, has operated in the Terlingua area since 2000.
