Fort Davis pickleball tournament offers Las Vegas rodeo trip as grand prize

A pickleball tournament in Fort Davis will give Big Bend residents a chance to win a trip for two to the National Finals Rodeo in Las Vegas.

The Rendezvous will host its 2026 Pickleball Tournament beginning at 2 p.m. Sunday, Oct. 11, at 105 W. Second St. in Fort Davis.

The grand prize includes two tickets to the Wrangler National Finals Rodeo on Dec. 11 in Las Vegas, along with airfare and hotel accommodations for two, according to the event announcement.

Participation is limited to residents of the Big Bend area, including college students with a current student ID.

Players are being encouraged to sign up with a partner. Registration is available by calling or texting 512-525-4979.

The National Finals Rodeo, one of professional rodeo’s marquee events, is held annually in Las Vegas.
