Presidio ISD runners competed at the Round Rock Cross Country Meet, with members of the Blue Devils and Lady Devils recording finishes in both the boys and girls races.
In the girls competition, Yeslynn Sierra led Presidio with a time of 15 minutes, 41.7 seconds, finishing 289th. Mia Hernandez finished 351st in 16:37.0, followed by Camila Valenzuela in 360th at 16:49.7. Dayana Herman finished 374th in 17:02.2, while Marihela Caballero placed 419th with a time of 18:27.1.
Aidan Samaniego led the Presidio boys, placing 26th with a time of 17:34.5. Taro Gutierrez finished 72nd in 18:36.3, Jesus Pantoja was 81st in 18:49.4 and Iram Davila placed 85th in 18:56.1.
Javier Carrillo finished 177th in 20:07.8, followed by Santiago Ramirez in 209th at 20:29.1 and Zaid Alvidrez in 212th at 20:30.1.
Presidio ISD congratulated the runners following the meet, encouraging the Blue Devils and Lady Devils to continue representing the community.
The teams are scheduled to compete next at the Bo Coffman Meet in Presidio.
