The Texas Department of State Health Services will hold a flu vaccine clinic Wednesday, Sept. 23, at the Fort Davis Community Center.
The clinic is scheduled from 2 to 6 p.m. at the community center, 601 E. Cemetery Road.
Flu vaccines will be available to eligible participants, with eligibility requirements applying, according to an event announcement from Texas Health and Human Services and DSHS.
The event will also offer several other health and safety resources for families. Organizers plan to distribute bicycle and skateboard helmets and provide safe-sleep education, including pack-and-plays, as well as nutrition education and other services.
The clinic is part of state health officials’ efforts to provide preventive health services and safety resources to residents in the Fort Davis area.
