A new pizza restaurant and arcade concept called Marky’s World is planning to open in Marfa in spring 2027, according to a newly launched website and social media accounts.
Exactly where the business will be located has not yet been publicly disclosed.
Marky’s describes the planned business as “Deck Oven Pies & Classic Arcade.” Its website lists Marfa and a spring 2027 opening, while recent social media posts offer considerably more detail about what its owners hope to build.
In an Instagram post outlining plans for the concept, Marky’s said build-out is expected to begin soon. The owners cautioned that the list represents what they are “working towards” and said they would be pleased to accomplish half of it within the next six months.
Plans include 18-inch New York-style deck-oven pizzas sold as whole pies and large slices, along with salads and desserts. The business also plans to allow customers to bring their own alcoholic beverages.
A classic video-game arcade is expected to be a major component of the operation. Other ideas announced by Marky’s include scheduled online ordering, dine-in and takeout service, Saturday afternoon birthday parties, private pizza-and-arcade buyouts and a six-person “pizza party” at a kitchen booth.
Marky’s also says it hopes to offer pizza-making classes for children and adults, a “Good Grades 4 Pizza” program, free-play days in the arcade and, eventually, frozen Marky’s pizzas sold in local grocery freezer sections.
The business has begun establishing its online presence under the name “Marky’s World.” Its website currently consists primarily of the Marky’s branding and the announcement of a spring 2027 opening in Marfa. Marky’s World website
