Fort Davis teachers will be treated to a complimentary dinner Monday as a local restaurant recognizes educators for their work with the community’s students.
The Rendezvous in Fort Davis is hosting a Fort Davis ISD Teacher Appreciation Dinner from 6 to 9 p.m. Monday, Aug. 10. All Fort Davis ISD teachers are invited to attend and may bring one guest.
“As a thank-you for investing in our community and students,” the restaurant said in announcing the event, teachers and their guests will be able to enjoy the evening at no charge.
The dinner comes as educators prepare for the new school year and is intended as a show of appreciation for their contributions to Fort Davis students and the broader community.
The Rendezvous is located at 105 W. Second St. in Fort Davis.
