Two people were injured Tuesday afternoon when a pickup truck with Texas license plates rolled over on the Aldama-Ojinaga highway, authorities said.
The crash happened near kilometer marker 47 and involved a white Ford F-150.
According to an initial report, the driver left the roadway for an unknown reason before the truck overturned and came to rest on property near the highway.
Passing motorists reported the crash. Firefighters and Red Cross paramedics from Ciudad Aldama responded and worked to free a woman who was trapped inside the vehicle.
The driver and passenger were taken to a hospital for medical treatment. Their conditions were not immediately available.
Authorities are investigating the cause of the crash.
