The Municipal Government of Ojinaga is encouraging families with young children to apply for a state-supported assistance program that provides in-kind benefits for children from birth through age 3.
The program, administered through Ojinaga’s Department of Social Development in partnership with the Chihuahua Secretariat of Human Development and the Common Good, offers assistance tailored to different age groups.
For infants 0 to 11 months old, eligible families may receive support by submitting:
- A socioeconomic study (Annex 1)
- A valid government-issued identification (INE)
- Proof of residence dated within the last three months
- CURP for the child’s mother, father or guardian
- The child’s birth certificate
- The child’s CURP
For children 1 to 3 years old, the program provides educational materials designed to promote early childhood development. Applicants must submit:
- A socioeconomic study (Annex 1)
- A valid government-issued identification (INE)
- Proof of residence dated within the last three months
- CURP for the child’s mother, father or guardian
- The child’s CURP
Municipal officials said families seeking additional information may contact the Ojinaga Department of Social Development.
The initiative is part of the Chihuahua state government’s efforts to support early childhood development through educational and family assistance programs.
