Alpine ISD has announced the hiring of Carissa Sparks as the new elementary art teacher at Alpine Elementary School.
In a social media announcement, the district welcomed Sparks to the “Fightin’ Buck family,” highlighting her experience teaching art in West Texas public schools and her commitment to helping students develop their creativity.
According to Alpine ISD, Sparks brings a passion for guiding students as they “discover their creativity, express themselves, and grow in their artistic confidence” through hands-on learning and meaningful artistic experiences.
District leaders said they are excited for Alpine Elementary students to learn, create and explore under Sparks’ leadership as the school prepares for the upcoming academic year.
The announcement is one of several staff introductions Alpine ISD has shared ahead of the start of the new school year as the district continues finalizing its campus teams.
Sparks will serve as the elementary art teacher at Alpine Elementary School beginning this school year.
