Superintendents from three Fort Davis-area parks will meet with residents during a new monthly community coffee gathering Aug. 6 at Indian Lodge.
The first “Superintendents’ Sip & Share” will begin at 9 a.m. on the historic lobby porch at Indian Lodge in Davis Mountains State Park.
The event will give visitors and residents an opportunity to speak directly with leadership from Davis Mountains State Park, Indian Lodge and Fort Davis National Historic Site.
Organizers said the informal gathering will focus on upcoming events, current job openings and the application process, along with ideas for improving service to communities across the Big Bend region.
Coffee will be provided, and the event is open to anyone who wants to ask questions, share ideas or meet local park officials.
