Elderly Driver Suffers Minor Injuries in Rollover Near Aldama

An elderly driver suffered minor injuries after a white Chevrolet pickup truck rolled over Tuesday on the Aldama-Ojinaga highway near kilometer marker 33, authorities said.

The crash occurred during the afternoon on the stretch of highway connecting Aldama and Ojinaga. The vehicle overturned and came to rest off the roadway.

The driver, described as an older adult, sustained minor head injuries but was not believed to be in life-threatening condition. Paramedics from the Red Cross in Ciudad Aldama evaluated the driver at the scene and determined that hospitalization was not necessary.

Members of Mexico’s National Guard Highway Division responded to the crash and conducted the initial investigation. Authorities also prepared an accident report and traffic diagram as part of efforts to determine the cause of the rollover.
