The Town of Van Horn and Culberson County are set to host the annual Frontier Days Street Festival on Saturday, June 27, featuring live music, vendors, a free street dance and family-friendly activities in downtown Van Horn.
The free event will take place in the downtown parking lot at 101 W. Broadway and will include performances by Ma$$ore, Conjunto Amanecer and Joe Saenz y Los Conjunto Bandits. Organizers said vendors will be open from 6 p.m. to midnight, with a free street dance scheduled from 7 p.m. to midnight.
Additional activities include jumping balloons for children and a 3-on-3 basketball tournament at the Van Horn Curry Gym.
Festivities will begin Friday, June 26, with live music by Wayne R. West from 6 p.m. to 9 p.m. at the Clark Hotel Museum, located at 112 W. Broadway St.
The event is BYOB and open to the public. Organizers are encouraging residents and visitors to come downtown to celebrate Frontier Days with music, food and community activities.
