Brewster County residents will have an opportunity to safely dispose of unwanted electronics later this month during an upcoming e-waste collection event in Terlingua.
According to information released by Brewster County, an E-Waste Collection Day is scheduled for Saturday, June 13, at the Brewster County Road & Bridge Yard on FM 170 in Terlingua.
The event will run from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. and is intended to provide residents with a safe way to recycle and dispose of outdated electronics.
Accepted items include printers, computers, televisions, fax machines and small electronics.
County officials are encouraging residents to bring old electronic devices for proper disposal rather than discarding them in landfills or leaving them unused.
