Museum of the Big Bend to Host Summer Art Camp for Children in Alpine

The Museum of the Big Bend will host a weeklong summer art camp for young children this July on the Sul Ross State University campus.

According to promotional materials, the Museum of the Big Bend Summer Art Camp is scheduled for July 20–24, 2026, at the museum’s Cultural Events Center on the Sul Ross State University campus in Alpine.

The camp will be divided into two age groups, with sessions for children ages 4 to 6 running from 9 a.m. to noon and sessions for children ages 7 to 10 taking place from 1 p.m. to 4 p.m.

Registration costs $35 for museum members and $50 for non-members.

The camp is designed to give children an opportunity to participate in art-focused activities during the summer while engaging with the Museum of the Big Bend’s educational programming.
