A popular Alpine food truck is expanding its offerings with a new evening sandwich series set to launch in June.
According to announcements shared online, Cow Dog Food Truck, located at 215 E. Holland Ave. in Alpine, plans to introduce “Summer Sammie Nights,” featuring signature sandwiches served Tuesday through Thursday evenings.
The special menu will be offered from 5 p.m. to 7:30 p.m. and is expected to include options such as an Italian grinder, pressed caprese, Cubano, Reuben and pickle-brined crispy chicken sandwiches.
Promotional materials indicate meals will be served with chips and an ice cream sandwich.
Cow Dog Food Truck currently operates seven days a week for lunch and also offers a weekend breakfast café on Saturdays and Sundays from 9 a.m. to noon, along with pizza service on Fridays and Saturdays from 4:30 p.m. to 8:30 p.m.
The food truck has built a following in Alpine and is located along Holland Avenue in the heart of downtown.
