Fort Davis ISD Welcomes New School Counselor Kelly Springfield

Fort Davis ISD has announced the hiring of Kelly Springfield as the district’s new counselor, bringing an educator with a broad certification background and local university ties to the role.

In an announcement shared by the district, officials said Springfield will serve as counselor at Fort Davis ISD and praised her compassion, dedication and expertise.

“We are thrilled to introduce Kelly Springfield as the new counselor at Fort Davis ISD,” the district said in the announcement. “We are excited to have her compassion, dedication, and expertise on our team.”

According to the district, Springfield holds certifications in Generalist EC–4, Generalist 4–8, History 6–12, Government 6–12, English Language Arts 6–12 and English as a Second Language, among others.

The district also highlighted Springfield’s connection to the region, noting that she is a graduate of Sul Ross State University.

School officials said they look forward to the impact Springfield will make in supporting and empowering students at Fort Davis ISD.

“We are so excited to have Kelly join our FDISD family and look forward to the positive impact she will make,” the district stated.
