The Terrell County Sheriff’s Office impounded two vehicles during traffic enforcement efforts tied to Operation Lone Star, according to a social media post from Sheriff Thaddeus Cleveland.
One stop involved the driver of a Porsche, who deputies found was operating the vehicle without a driver’s license, without insurance since April 2025, and with an expired vehicle registration dating back to September 2025. The driver was cited and released, according to the sheriff.
In a separate stop, deputies pulled over the driver of a Dodge truck and determined the person was operating the vehicle with a driver’s license that had been suspended since 2021.
The sheriff’s office said the stops were part of proactive patrols aimed at enforcing state traffic laws and improving roadway safety.
“The Terrell County Sheriff’s Office remains committed to proactively patrolling our communities, enforcing state traffic laws, and helping keep our roadways safe for the traveling public,” the sheriff’s office said in its post.
Operation Lone Star is a Texas border security initiative involving state and local law enforcement agencies conducting patrol and enforcement activities in border regions.
