Marfa Police Department issued a be-on-the-lookout alert Saturday after two male subjects reportedly fled from U.S. Border Patrol and were last seen near the southern edge of the city.
According to the department, at approximately 4:05 p.m. on May 17, U.S. Border Patrol informed Marfa police that two men had fled from agents. The individuals were last seen south of Highway 169 and west of U.S. Highway 67 and were believed to possibly be headed toward the city limits of Marfa.
Police shared an image of the two individuals and advised residents not to approach them if seen.
Authorities asked anyone who sees the individuals or has information on their whereabouts to call 911 immediately.
No additional identifying information was immediately released.
