Teachers in Fort Stockton will be recognized with a special limited-time drink collaboration Saturday as local businesses join forces for a teacher appreciation event.
Centennial Bar & Lounge and Ru Coffee Co are offering a “Centennial x Ru Teacher Appreciation Menu” from 2 p.m. to 7 p.m. Saturday, May 16.
According to a social media post from Centennial Bar & Lounge, teachers are encouraged to begin the experience at Ru Coffee Co for ice cream and espresso before heading to Centennial to complete specialty drinks and enjoy karaoke, games and drink specials on the venue’s second floor.
The limited-time menu features several coffee- and dessert-inspired drinks, including a Dirty Shirley Float, Frozen Orange Creamsicle, Frozen Mudslide, Affogato Espresso Martini, Mexican Coffee and an Espresso Old Fashioned.
Centennial Bar & Lounge, located at 123 N. Main St. in Fort Stockton, describes itself as a renovated historic venue featuring a piano bar, dance space and pool table.
The event is intended to celebrate and show appreciation for local educators as the school year comes to a close.
