Alpine ISD has released the 2026 varsity football schedule for the Alpine Fightin’ Bucks, with the season set to begin Aug. 28 at home against McCamey.
The Bucks will open the year with four non-district contests, including road trips to Fabens on Sept. 4 and Kermit on Sept. 18. Alpine will host Clint Mountain View on Sept. 11 before an open week Sept. 25.
District play begins Oct. 2, when Alpine hosts Van Horn during homecoming festivities. Additional themed nights during the season include Little Buck Night on Aug. 28, Teacher Appreciation Night on Sept. 11, Pink Out Night on Oct. 23 and Senior Night on Nov. 6.
The Fightin’ Bucks will travel to Coahoma on Oct. 9, Crane on Oct. 16 and Anthony on Oct. 30. Home district games include Stanton on Oct. 23 and Grape Creek on Nov. 6, which will close out the regular season.
All scheduled games are set for 7 p.m.
