Community members interested in preserving Alpine’s historic South Orient Railway Station are invited to attend an informational meeting on Tuesday, May 19, at 6 p.m. at The Ritchey upstairs in Alpine.
The meeting is aimed at discussing efforts to help save the aging rail station, a longtime landmark tied to the region’s railroad history and development.
Organizers are encouraging residents, local historians and supporters of historic preservation to attend and learn more about the future of the property and potential preservation efforts.
