Big Bend Vintage, a new shop specializing in vintage furniture, clothing, home décor and antique items, is set to celebrate its official grand opening Friday on historic Murphy Street in Alpine.
Owner September Laura Broadhead announced the event this week, inviting the community to stop by the new storefront at 106 W. Murphy St. for shopping and live music.
The shop will open at 11 a.m., with local artist Tom Curry and his band, Off the Rails, scheduled to perform at 5 p.m. on the outdoor stage beside the store. Attendees are encouraged to bring their own chairs for the evening performance.
According to Broadhead, the store will offer a mix of vintage goods ranging from furniture and home décor to clothing and other antique items.
“We are so excited and appreciative to be part of the Alpine community,” Broadhead said in the announcement.
Big Bend Vintage is located at 106 W. Murphy St. in Alpine.
