The Alpine Bucks will open the UIL baseball playoffs this week with a bi-district series against Coahoma at Kermit High School.
According to Alpine ISD, Game 1 is scheduled for 6 p.m. Thursday, April 30, followed by Game 2 at 11 a.m. Saturday, May 2. Both games will be played at the Kermit High School baseball field.
The series marks the start of postseason play for Alpine, with the Bucks looking to advance beyond the opening round against Coahoma.
Alpine ISD encouraged community support for the team as it begins its playoff run, with fans rallying behind the “Fightin’ Bucks” heading into the matchup.
