A local water park is inviting families to celebrate Día del Niño with extended hours and a special promotion offering free admission for children on Thursdays.
Rio Bravo Parque Acuático announced it is open Tuesday through Sunday from noon to 8 p.m., featuring pools, water slides and shaded recreational areas. As part of its promotion, children up to age 12 can enter free on Thursdays when accompanied by a paying adult. Restrictions apply.
The park highlights what it describes as the fastest water slide in the region, along with additional amenities including sports courts, green spaces and barbecue areas designed for group outings.
Organizers said the event is aimed at providing an affordable, family-friendly environment for celebrating children, a holiday widely observed across Mexico.
The park is located at kilometer 5 on the road toward El Mulato. Reservations can be made by phone, according to promotional materials.
