Students with the Alpine High School Buck Band are hosting a car wash fundraiser Saturday to help cover program costs, including uniforms and equipment.
The event is scheduled for 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. at Sheltons Runway, located at 300 S. Cockrell St., according to event organizers. No appointment is required, and drivers can simply pull up to have their vehicles cleaned.
Volunteers will provide exterior washes, window cleaning and a hand-dry finish. All donations will be accepted, with proceeds going directly to support the band program at Alpine High School, a public high school in the Alpine Independent School District.
Organizers say the fundraiser is part of ongoing efforts to support student musicians and offset participation costs for families.
