A motorcyclist was transported to a local hospital with minor injuries after a crash on Highway 166 in Jeff Davis County, authorities said.
Deputies with the Jeff Davis County Sheriff’s Office, working Operation Stonegarden, responded to the accident earlier in the day. The individual involved was taken to Big Bend Regional Hospital for treatment, according to the sheriff’s office.
Officials said Fort Davis EMS and the Fort Davis Fire Department assisted at the scene and were credited for their quick response.
No additional details about the cause of the crash or the condition of the motorcyclist were immediately available.
