Alpine will celebrate its 30th annual Cinco de Mayo Fiesta on May 1–2 along historic Murphy Street, featuring a weekend of live music, cultural performances, a parade and community activities.
The free, family-friendly event begins Friday, May 1, with the Grand Mercado opening at 11 a.m., followed by music throughout the day, including DJ Brian Portillo at 3 p.m., vocalist Roxy Cabello at 7 p.m., and Rick Ruiz & A Few Too Many at 8 p.m.
Festivities continue Saturday, May 2, starting with an 11 a.m. parade led by Grand Marshal Manuel Natera. A bike and car show will run from noon to 6 p.m., alongside a lineup of performances that includes Mariachi Santa Cruz, Nueva Generación de Terlingua, Presidio ISD Ballet Folklórico and Los Diablitos Azules. Evening acts feature Christopher Seymore, Dylan Earl, The Texicans Band and Ricardo Castillon La Diferenzia closing the night at 10 p.m.
