The municipal government of Ojinaga delivered a pair of soccer goals to students at Escuela Primaria Cuauhtémoc during a visit led by Mayor Lucy Marrufo and members of her staff.
According to a municipal social media post, the donation followed a direct request from a student to the mayor. The goals are intended to support recreational soccer activities at the school.
Before the presentation, students and local officials participated in a friendly match, creating what organizers described as a positive and engaging atmosphere for the school community.
Municipal officials said the interaction with students served as a reminder of the importance of supporting youth and fostering community connections through simple initiatives.
