Brewster County deputies arrested a man Friday morning on an assault warrant following an investigation into an incident earlier in the week in Study Butte, authorities said.
According to a statement from the Brewster County Sheriff’s Office, deputies served an arrest warrant on Edwing Maldonado after investigating a Wednesday night incident.
Officials said the investigation remains ongoing and that additional suspects are expected to be identified.
