The Executive Secretariat of the State Anticorruption System conducted a training session for municipal officials in Ojinaga focused on administrative responsibilities and the functions of internal control bodies.
The workshop, led by the Secretaría Ejecutiva del Sistema Estatal Anticorrupción (SESEA), aimed to strengthen public servants’ knowledge of integrity standards, internal processes and compliance with legal obligations.
The training took place in the City Council chamber at the Municipal Presidency building and was attended by approximately 40 officials from the current municipal administration.
Organizers said the session covered two primary topics: administrative responsibilities and the powers of the internal control body. The goal was to provide practical tools to help municipal staff carry out their duties with greater clarity, efficiency and adherence to current regulations.
The presentation was led by Héctor Luis Ponce Gutiérrez, SESEA coordinator of risk and public policy. Juan Carlos Estrada, coordinator of interinstitutional and civil society relations, also participated as part of the working team.
According to SESEA, the training is part of an ongoing effort directed by Executive Secretary Felipe Alejandro Salasplata Cázares to provide technical support and instruction to public entities across Chihuahua, with the aim of professionalizing public service and preventing administrative misconduct.
