Alpine ISD students highlight award-winning One Act Play season, future plans to board

Four students from Alpine ISD’s One Act Play program presented to the district’s Board of Trustees, highlighting their award-winning season and sharing ideas for future growth.

Students Aila Carpenter, Karissa Calderon, Kelston Behan and Abigail Scott spoke about their experiences in the program and the impact participation has had on them as members of the Lady Bucks. The presentation emphasized both the artistic development and personal growth fostered through theater.

First-year One Act Play Director Ariana Vega attended the meeting as part of the recognition, which celebrated the program’s recent success.

Students also expressed appreciation for a recent donation supporting the program, with additional details expected to be announced in the coming days.

The board acknowledged the group’s accomplishments and their contributions to the district’s extracurricular offerings.

Alpine ISD officials congratulated the One Act Play participants on their successful season and said they look forward to the program’s continued development.
