The Alpine Police Department will host a “Coffee With a Cop” event on Thursday, April 23, inviting community members to meet with officers in an informal setting.
The event is scheduled from 9 to 11 a.m. at Vise Coffee, located at 105 E. Holland Ave. Residents are encouraged to stop by for coffee and conversation with local law enforcement.
Organizers say the gathering is designed to strengthen relationships between officers and the community by providing an opportunity for open dialogue outside of traditional settings. Attendees can ask questions, share concerns and get to know officers who serve the Alpine area.
“Coffee With a Cop” events are held in communities across the country as a way to promote transparency and build trust between police departments and the public.
