An event aimed at connecting veterans and their families with jobs, benefits and support services will be held April 23 at the Fort Stockton Convention Center.
Operation Resource Connect will take place from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. CST at 2181 Interstate 10 Service Road. The event will bring together employers, community partners and service organizations offering assistance tailored to veterans.
Organizers say attendees can explore job openings, learn about benefits assistance and access programs designed to support long-term success for veterans and their families.
The event is hosted in partnership with the Texas Veterans Land Board, Texas Veterans Commission and Workforce Solutions Permian Basin, along with Workforce Solutions Borderplex.
Registration is available for both employers and attendees through online sign-up links provided by organizers. Workforce Solutions officials noted the program is an equal opportunity employer and that auxiliary aids and services are available upon request for individuals with disabilities.
The event is funded in whole or in part with federal funds, according to organizers.
