A communitywide trash cleanup is scheduled for Thursday, April 16, as part of an ongoing effort to improve the appearance of Presidio.
The event, organized by the Big Bend Conservation Alliance, will begin at 6:30 p.m. Volunteers are asked to meet in the Presidio Middle School parking lot before heading out to collect litter in designated areas.
The cleanup is part of the “Make Presidio Beautiful” campaign, which encourages residents and community groups to take an active role in maintaining public spaces.
Organizers are inviting residents of all ages to participate, noting that community involvement plays a key role in keeping Presidio clean and welcoming.
Participants are encouraged to bring gloves and wear appropriate clothing for outdoor work. Additional supplies may be provided on site.
