Chinati Foundation to host Community Day with art, music and workshops April 26

Chinati Foundation will host its annual Community Day on Sunday, April 26, 2026, offering an afternoon of art, food and cultural programming free and open to the public.

The event is scheduled from 1 to 6:30 p.m. and will feature a range of activities, including art experiences, food offerings, mariachi and folklórico performances, and hands-on workshops for attendees of all ages.

Organizers say the event is designed to bring together residents and visitors for an accessible introduction to Chinati’s programming and to celebrate the cultural diversity of the region.

Community Day will take place on the foundation’s campus in Marfa. A full schedule of activities is expected to be announced ahead of the event.
