The Presidio Trading Post & Cantina will host the 2026 River Road Rally over Memorial Day weekend, bringing together motorcyclists, off-road enthusiasts and classic car drivers for a multi-day event along one of the region’s most scenic routes.
The rally begins Friday, May 22, with a “Rompe Hielo” icebreaker event from 6 p.m. to midnight at the Presidio Trading Post, located at 1412 Park Valley Ave. The evening will feature karaoke hosted by Roxy Cabello.
Activities continue Saturday, May 23, with the Doc Lewis Poker Run. Participants are scheduled to meet at 9 a.m. before departing at 10 a.m. for a ride toward Terlingua along River Road, also known as Highway 170. Dinner will follow upon return.
A Saturday night party from 8 p.m. to 1 a.m. will close out the day’s events, featuring music by DJ Polo Villalba.
Organizers say the rally is open to all വാഹന types, including motorcycles, classic cars and off-road vehicles, emphasizing an inclusive atmosphere for participants traveling the route along the Rio Grande.
The event is presented in partnership with Discover Presidio and DB Rustic Iron BBQ.
The River Road Rally is scheduled to coincide with Memorial Day weekend, offering participants an opportunity to honor those who served while experiencing the landscapes of far West Texas.
