Hurts Donut to Bring ‘Emergency Donut Vehicle’ to Van Horn on Friday

Hurts Donut – El Paso is set to bring its “Emergency Donut Vehicle” to Van Horn on Friday, April 10, offering a wide selection of oversized specialty donuts and baked goods while supplies last.

The pop-up event is scheduled to begin at 10 a.m. at the corner of Broadway and U.S. Highway 54 and will continue until items sell out. Organizers encouraged customers to arrive early, noting that popular items may be limited.

According to the announcement, the traveling donut truck will feature a variety of large-format treats, including Double Stuff Long Johns, multiple flavors of oversized cinnamon rolls — such as strawberry cheesecake, caramel apple pie and cherry cheesecake — as well as maple bacon bars, fritters and a range of classic donuts.

The menu will also include jumbo chocolate chip cookies, oatmeal cream pies, fudge rounds and chocolate-covered strawberry donuts.

Hurts Donut said customers seeking dairy-free or gluten-free options must place pre-orders by 3 p.m. Thursday to ensure availability and proper handling. Pre-orders can be made by phone.

The company described the event as a high-demand stop, encouraging community members to share the announcement to help determine how many donuts will be brought to Van Horn.
