Presidio Lady Devils Edge Crane in 11–10 Thriller on the Road

The Presidio High School varsity softball team returned home with a dramatic 11–10 victory over Crane this week after a back-and-forth matchup that came down to the final innings, according to Presidio ISD.

School officials described the game as a “thrilling” contest from start to finish, highlighting the Lady Devils’ resilience, teamwork, and determination throughout the matchup. The narrow win adds momentum early in the season for Presidio’s varsity squad.

Presidio’s junior varsity team also competed during the trip, falling to Crane 10–3. Despite the loss, district leaders praised the JV players for their effort and continued development on the field.

“Our JV girls also competed with heart and hustle, continuing to grow and represent our school with pride,” the district said in its announcement.

Coaches and school leaders emphasized the work ethic and positive attitude of both teams, noting that the athletes continue to represent Presidio High School and the Blue Devil community with pride.
