Mobile Mortician of Texas will host a community “Eat and Greet” event later this month in Fort Davis, offering residents a free meal, facility tour and information about end-of-life planning.
The event is scheduled for Feb. 27 at 6 p.m. at the organization’s location at 43430 Highway 17 South, formerly the Old Pops Grill, according to a promotional flyer.
Organizers said the gathering will include a spaghetti dinner, drinks and dessert, along with an opportunity for attendees to learn about funeral and memorial services and ask questions about preparing personal affairs.
Participants will also be able to tour the facility and enter a drawing for a door prize. The event is open to the public, and no reservation is required, though organizers encouraged guests to RSVP by text.
James Hall is listed as a speaker for the event, along with Mary Ann Luedecke, according to the flyer.
The company said the program is intended to provide information in a relaxed, family-friendly setting and to help community members better understand planning options.
Additional information is available through Mobile Mortician of Texas at (432) 249-1333.
