The junior class at Balmorhea Independent School District will host a 6v6 co-ed volleyball tournament later this month to raise funds in support of the Class of 2027.
The tournament is scheduled for Feb. 21 at the Balmorhea High School Gym and is open to participants ages 14 and older. Organizers said teams may include both boys and girls, with no more than two boys allowed on the court at one time.
The entry fee is $90 per team. Payments will be accepted in cash or through Cash App. Proceeds will benefit junior class activities and projects.
Students and community members are encouraged to form teams and participate in the event as a way to support local education and student leadership.
Registration forms must be submitted by Feb. 17. Additional information is available by contacting organizers through the email address listed on the event flyer.
The event will take place in Balmorhea and is open to the public.
