Residents in Presidio will have multiple opportunities to stay active and improve their health in February through free High-Intensity Interval Training (HIIT) classes at the Presidio Activity Center.

The Big Bend Regional Hospital District recently announced the February 2026 schedule for the popular community fitness program, which is open to participants of all ages and fitness levels at no cost.

Classes will be held at 7 p.m. on the following dates:

Tuesday, February 3 Thursday, February 5 Tuesday, February 10 Thursday, February 12 Tuesday, February 17 Tuesday, February 24 Thursday, February 26

All sessions take place at the Presidio Activity Center, located at 1200 E. O’Reilly Street in Presidio.

The bilingual program, offered in both English and Spanish, is part of a broader effort by Big Bend Health and Major Salud to promote accessible wellness opportunities across the region. Organizers say the classes have continued to grow in popularity, drawing strong community participation each month.

HIIT workouts combine short bursts of intense exercise with brief recovery periods and are designed to improve cardiovascular health, strength, and overall fitness in a time-efficient format.

Hospital district officials emphasized that the classes are completely free and open to everyone in the community, regardless of experience level.

Residents are encouraged to wear comfortable workout clothing, bring water, and arrive early.
