Ward County to Host Passport Fair at Monahans Courthouse

The Ward County District Clerk’s Office will host a Passport Fair at the Ward County Courthouse, offering residents an opportunity to apply for U.S. passports without an appointment.

The event will take place at the courthouse, located at 400 S. Allen St., Suite 202, in Monahans. Services will be available in two sessions: from 10 a.m. to 11:30 a.m. and from 1 p.m. to 4 p.m.

District Clerk Valerie Romo said the fair is intended to make the passport application process more accessible for county residents. Applicants are required to complete their passport applications before arriving and must use black ink. Sign-in will be required upon arrival.

The District Clerk’s Office recently added an in-house photo booth, allowing applicants to have passport photos taken on site.

No appointment is required to attend the passport fair. Standard federal passport fees apply.
