Fort Davis Cyclefest Announces 2026 Dates

Organizers of Fort Davis Cyclefest have released the dates for the 2026 edition of one of Far West Texas’ most scenic annual cycling events. Riders can now mark their calendars for September 19–20, 2026, when cyclists from across the state are expected to return to Jeff Davis County for two days of high-desert riding.

The save-the-date announcement includes new promotional images highlighting the rugged beauty of the Davis Mountains and the long, winding stretches of the Fort Davis Scenic Loop — a landscape that has made Cyclefest a favorite for endurance cyclists and recreational riders alike.

Cyclefest traditionally features a Saturday tour through the mountains and surrounding rangeland, followed by the challenging Mt. Locke Hill Climb on Sunday. The 2026 details have not yet been formally posted, but the structure is expected to remain similar to past years.

The event is organized through Prude Ranch and local cycling volunteers. More information will be released on the event page as registration approaches:
