‘Badges & Bogeys’ Charity Golf Scramble Set for November 21 in Alpine

Golfers across the Big Bend region are invited to tee off for a cause this fall. The Inaugural Best Ball Golf Scramble — Badges & Bogeys — will take place on Friday, November 21, 2025, at the Alpine Country Club, benefiting the Blue and Brown Santa programs run by the Alpine Police Department and the Brewster County Sheriff’s Office.

The 3-man scramble will begin with a 10 a.m. shotgun start, featuring 24 teams competing for prizes and bragging rights. Registration is $225 per team and includes dinner and two drink tickets.

Cash prizes will be awarded for 1st place, along with contests for Longest Drive and Closest to the Hole. A 50/50 raffle and additional prizes will also be available for attendees, with mulligans sold for $10 per player.

Dinner will be served at the clubhouse before prize drawings, and non-players can join for $15 per person. A gun raffle will be held at the conclusion of the tournament, with tickets priced at $20 each.

Registration is open now through the Tee Box Caddie app, or participants can contact Tony Arcadi at (315) 640-0060 for more information.

All proceeds will go toward making the holidays brighter for local families in need through law enforcement-led Christmas giving programs.
