The Sul Ross Rodeo Team will host a Jackpot competition on Saturday, Sept. 20, featuring barrel racing, breakaway roping, and team roping events.
Barrel Racing: Exhibitions begin at noon ($3 each). Open 4D Barrel Race starts at 1 p.m. ($40 entry). Youth (14 and under) 3D Barrel Race is $20.
Rodeo Run Breakaway Roping: $20 per run, with up to five entries allowed. Youth breakaway (14 and under) $20 per run. Open and youth will run separately.
Rodeo Run Team Roping: $20 per run, enter up with a different partner each time.
All entries are cash only. Events will follow NIRA rules, with youth breakaway under Jr. High rules.
