The Fort Stockton Historic Society will host Living History Days March 26–28, 2026, bringing the Old West to life with reenactments, cultural exhibits and hands-on activities.
The three-day event at Historic Fort Stockton will feature historical reenactors, live cannon fire, artifact displays, Buffalo Soldier tours, blacksmith workshops, adobe block making, chuck wagons and Native American cultural displays. Family activities include games, kid-friendly programming and a special camel appearance.
Admission is free.
Organizers said the event offers a chance to explore Fort Stockton’s heritage and connect with the people, places and events that shaped West Texas.
