Flying Island, a four-day music festival set in the Chihuahuan Desert, will return to Marfa this fall. The event runs from Thursday, Oct. 23, through Sunday, Oct. 26.
Bracelet pickup begins at 4 p.m. Oct. 23 at Larry’s in Marfa. Festival activities continue through the weekend, with music and events staged at venues across town.
Organizers recommend lodging options including El Cosmico, Airbnb, Riata Inn, Thunderbird Hotel and VRBO. Self-camping and RV parking are also available.
