The Presidio Volunteer Fire Department (PVFD) is inviting community members to step up and serve. On Thursday, Sept. 11, the department will host a recruiting drive at the station, offering tours and accepting applications throughout the day.
Volunteers will have the chance to learn life-saving skills while protecting neighbors and strengthening community safety.
The effort coincides with PVFD’s Remembrance Ruck March, also scheduled for Sept. 11, honoring the lives lost in the Sept. 11, 2001 attacks.
Those interested in joining can stop by the fire department on recruitment day to learn more.
